Land Defence Australia Limited will holding a "mini symposium" at this year's Land Forces Conference in Adelaide. The symposium will be forum for discussion of the operational and technical lessons from recent operations and their implications for operational and force planners in the future.
The event organisers, Aerospace Maritime and Defence Foundation of Australia Limited or AMDFA, is a not for profit group dedicated to promoting the development of Australia’s land systems defence and military sectors.
AMDFA has gathered key Army land systems stakeholders to participate in the event which will include a keynote address by Head of Modernisation and Strategic Planning – Army (HMSP-A) MAJGEN Fergus McLachlan.
A panel discussion will follow including senior defence industry representatives from Rheinmetall and BAE systems as well as BRIG Chris Mills, Director General Army Modernisation, Department of Defence and MAJGEN Nick Welch OBE, Assistant Chief of General Staff, United Kingdom.
